What is NextGen?
Objective
NextGen is a qualification program designed to support researchers on their academic career path towards a professorship at universities of applied sciences.
The project started on April 1st, 2021 and is scheduled to continue until March 31st, 2027. It has received 5,2 million Euros of funding from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It is part of the federal-and-state program FH Personal.
Researchers
Researchers on different career levels are taking part in the NextGen qualification program. New members might be added as the project progresses. The current team line-up is very heterogeneous. Still, they have one common denominator. All team members work in newly academized or cross-section-oriented research and teaching fields at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences.
A professional project and process management ensures that research goals are attained as planned.
